Coronavirus cases in Balochistan drop by 4%

QUETTA: Provincial health department on Monday in a report said that the cases of coronavirus in Balochistan have gradually declined.

According to the provincial health department, 233 more patients of coronavirus recovered yesterday. The tally of total active cases has been 618 in the province, according to the report.

The ratio of active cases of the virus in Balochistan has now dropped to four percent. The ratio of active COVID-19 cases going down in Balochistan as the province on Sunday announced that it has overall 15,371 confirmed coronavirus infections, while 14,402 patients have recovered to health.

At least four more people have died in Pakistan due to the coronavirus and the total death toll has risen to 6,517. According to the National Command and Operations Center, 644 new cases of coronavirus were reported across the country and the total number of affected people has reached 315,260.

During the last 24 hours, 375 coronavirus patients recovered and the total number of cured people was 298,968. The number of virus active cases in the country is 9,135.

The number of coronavirus cases in Islamabad has reached 16,766. 99,812 cases have been reported in Punjab, 138,050 in Sindh, 37,973 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15,371 in Balochistan, 3,828 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 2,816 in Azad Kashmir.
